My Why involves a "calling" that happened in the spring of 2000 after a prayer retreat. I was urged to put my love of yarn crafting to good use by starting a prayer ministry.  

"In Our Prayers..." a prayer shawl ministry, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in May. I buy and donate most of the yarn used. My prayer partners and I make prayer shawls for anyone who wants one or needs one. We never charge for them. They are hung at various churches, free for the taking. It's become harder and harder to buy the yarn on my fixed income.

When Dealan suggested that I become an independent consultant, I cautiously agreed to give it a try and here I am, sharing my love of the people and resulting products.
