Hi, nice to meet you!

Welcome to my website!  Thank you for visiting and learning more about me!  I originally joined Thirty-One as a hobbyist.  I was looking for an opportunity to get out the house a few nights a month and earn a little extra “fun money.”  As a stay-at-home mom of two small children, I wanted to find a way to contribute to our family income and do something that could let me live in the world of “grown-ups” once and a while.

As I began my business with Thirty-One, I was immediately hooked on the products.  There were so many amazing options for organization and personal style.  I really love the personalization option!  It gave each item that extra special something!

Very early in my journey with Thirty-One, I found that my hostesses and customers loved getting together for some girl time and sharing our incredible products.  What had started off as a fun hobby was quickly becoming something greater.  I was soon making an income that I had never imagined.  My commission was no longer just paying for the extra splurges, but it was funding our family’s Christmas giving and paying for family vacations.  I was even able to contribute a good percentage of the down payment for our new house.  Best of all, I was rediscovering a part of my identity that had faded.  I adore being a stay-at-home mom and I never regret the decision I made to stay home with my children.  However, in those years before I started my business, I found that I had lost a piece of myself.  Joining Thirty-One gave me the chance to once again feel successful in doing something that was for ME!

In 2011, it was made clear to me exactly why I am in this business and what it can do.  In January of that year, my son was diagnosed with autism.  It was not a great shock to our family, but the treatment plan did include quite a bit of specialists and private therapies.  Even though my husband has phenomenal medical insurance, many of these services were not covered.  In the days before Thirty-One, our family would have been faced with the choice of whether to incur large amounts of debt or deny my son the resources he needs to help him succeed.  I am proud to say that because of Thirty-One, our family did not have to make that choice!  What’s even more important is that because of the flexibility my business allows me, I am able to put the needs of my family first always!
