Where do I even start? I’m in love with this glorious shade!
Millennial Pink, Blush Pink, Pale Pink, Dusty Rose... whatever you call it, this is the pink for year-round style – and it’s here to stay.
Chances are, you've been seeing this rosy hue pop up at least since Rose Quartz was named the Pantone Color of the Year in 2016: You may have seen it painted on a wall; as your trendy friend’s latest hair color; in clothing and makeup; in a fancy drink, food or dessert; and showing up on all of your social media feeds!
Softer than bubblegum and bolder than pastel, it’s the color that has taken millennials (and beyond) by storm. Though the name “millennial pink” only started creeping into the lexicon around 2016, the color itself isn’t entirely new: The shade spans from the 1950s’ pale pink appliances to 2018 with Starbucks’ secret pink drink!
I am so thrilled that we’re adding to our Thirty-One Gifts’ Winter Collection this on-trend color that will add to your style year-round! Here are a few ways I’ve had fun styling our new Rose Blush Pebble and Horizon Stripe:
I pair the simply stunning Diamond District Bag with my favorite black leather jacket, skinny jeans and a statement leather bootie.
Looking for a gradual way to show up in this trend? Start with something small like our Rubie Mini, Studio Thirty-One Flap or our new Studio Thirty-One Clutch, all available in Rose Blush Pebble! Think of it as a new neutral that blends with almost everything.
Soft and serene, this sweet shade of light pink will add a feminine, elegant touch to any outfit! It is such a pretty shade and is flattering to every skin tone. But the key is to look like you’re not trying too hard – you’re not a fashion victim, after all! Pull it off by simply pairing it with neutrals like black, soft grey, off-white or olive.
Millennial Pink is here to stay – not just this season, but every season. Now imagine all the possibilities!
