Hi, nice to meet you!

I am an Senior Director from Michigan and also a registered nurse.  I started my 31 journey in Nov 2010.  I was invited to a "31 Party" on FB....which I thought was her birthday!  Once I clicked on the event, I realized it wasn't a birthday party at all. Instead it was cute purses and totes!  I needed, yes needed, a new purse.  My daughter was going through chemotherapy and I needed a "hands free" purse to take with me to the hospital.  I got online and ordered the OSB.  Then I requested a catalog from the consultant, who was several states away.  When I got the catalog and realized this is something that I could do as a distraction...something happy and fun and not chemo or cancer related!  I signed up and got my kit before I got the purse I ordered, literally joining this company sight unseen!  

This little distraction has been such a blessing to me and my family when I couldn't work while caring for Rylie.  Now...4 years later I am finding that 31 is "saving" me again.  My youngest daughter Avery, is currently going through chemotherapy for the same cancer her sister was diagnosed with just 4 short years earlier.  In those 4 years, we have been blessed beyond measure.  And I have come to realize God put this "purse thing" in my path for a reason...or maybe a million reasons!  I always say, "I didn't find Thirty-one...Thirty-one found me".  And I am so thankful it did!
