Hi, nice to meet you!

Hello and thank you for visiting my Thirty-One website.  I'm excited to share my Thirty-One story with you.

My journey began in February 2005, I heard about Thirty-One at my full time job, UnumProvident in Chattanooga, TN.  My twin sister and I both worked there and we worked with Keith Cleveland.  His wife, Dawn Cleveland had sent a catalog to work with him.  We loved the products and Wendy decided to book a party.  Once Dawn came and I got to see how easy it was, how I loved everything they offered, I thought "I can do this".  My goal was to make some extra money for my husband and I.  We were fairly newlyweds and could use the extra money.  Also, it'd be a great outlet for me to meet some awesome women.

My long term goal in my head was, "Oh, if this really works out, maybe one day I'll be able to stay home with my kids".  I come from a very hard working family, my parents have always had to work very hard and still do this day.  I always dreamed of being home with my kids, I saw how my parents had to miss out on my ball games, plays, etc.  I didn't want that for my kids. 

I had never done direct sales before, so I hadn't a clue what I was doing.  I was so nervous!  I called Dawn so many times, I'm sure I was driving her nuts :)  Withing a year of starting my own business, I promoted to Director.  I didn't really know what that meant but I was excited about it.  There were only 2 other Directors within the company!  With the promotion came a $1,000 bonus, and also overrides on my downlines sales.  I was now making more money than I ever thought possible.

In September 2006 I had my 1st child, a son.  I was excited about going back to work at Unum, but was also upset.  I wanted to be with my son every minute of everyday.  I went back to work on his 4 month birthday.  I worked 2 months and gave my 2 weeks notice!  I've been home with him ever since! 

Not only am I getting to live my dream of being a stay at home mom, but I'm also getting to run my own business, set my own hours, work as much or as little as I want, take vacation whenever I feel like it, and help other women reach their goals and dreams!!!

Twelve and half years later, I have grown my lineage to over 82,000 ladies and have promoted to National Executive Director!!  God has blessed me and my family so much, I thank him everyday!
