Since 2013, Thirty-One has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities® to help families stay together while going through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Few can imagine the stress, worry and financial struggles that can weigh on a family with a sick child. But by providing welcome bags, volunteering and donating funds, Thirty-One has been able to help RMHC® keep families with sick children close to each other and the medical care they need.
This summer, Thirty-One is hosting a National Serve Day across the U.S. and Canada. On July 31, Consultants will share their giving hearts by serving a meal to families at every Ronald McDonald House in both countries – that’s 155 houses in the U.S. and 15 in Canada! These meals will give families one less thing to worry about so they can focus on helping their children get well.
RMHC holds a special place in our hearts here at Thirty-One for all the ways that they’ve helped thousands of families – including members of our own Thirty-One family when they were going through a time of medical crisis.
“At birth, my son Nicholas required a rare surgery at a hospital eight hours from home,” says Jamie Hansen, a Consultant from Escanaba, MI. “The Ronald McDonald House was a blessing. Without it, we would have had much more stress and anxiety during an already stressful situation. I am thankful to be part of a company that supports the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities.”
